MiRXES Lab is looking for an Assay Development, Scientist who is passionate and knowledgeable to translate our research into robust clinical diagnostic assays. We are looking for multiple candidates with strong background experience in either infectious disease or oncology space, particularly in liquid biopsy.
Role & Responsibilities
- Work in the lab, design and execute studies, and perform troubleshooting to develop high performance systems for bioresearch, bioprocess development, patient diagnostic applications including NGS, PCR, qPCR, purification and isolation system
- Develop and perform assays for product development, process validation and quality control analysis

This position reports to the Director, Scientific Affairs and Partnership and will be a traineeship programme that gets the exposure and interaction with the R&D, Communications, and Commercial teams within MiRXES. We are looking for a candidate who has strong interest in pursuing a career in scientific affairs/medical technical writing.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Developing a deep understanding of MiRXES technology and R&D activities
- Carrying out literature survey of specific disease areas for scientific publications, presentations, and marketing material
- Researching general scientific content related to our R&D, manufacturing, and commercial activities
- Conceptualising creative and scientifically accurate ways of communicating MiRXES’ technologies, research, and product offerings
- Contributing to content writing for scientific publications, presentations, marketing material, website, social media, and other collaterals
Desired Skills & Competencies
- Degree in science related fields
- Scientific writing skills preferred (if you have done work in this area, please feel free to include some samples in your application)
- Understand complex scientific concepts and explain them in a simple, but not simplistic way
- Understanding of life science and various disease subject areas in a biotech and medtech context
- Ability to communicate scientific and technical subject matters to all types of audiences (from technical experts to layperson)
